Get started

1. Install the app on your iPhone or iPad (and on your Mac).
2. Open the app and follow the short tutorial.
3. Add your first place in one of three ways:

• In your maps app tap Share and choose Kokoro Japan Guide.
• In the app tap +, paste a map link and tap Read link.
• With the Safari extension (see below).

1. Sort and plan: use the Food and Sightseeing views, cities, your own lists and daytrips.
2. Optional: sign in with Apple to sync via iCloud between your devices.
3. Navigate: open a place and tap Start route, or show the Japanese card to your driver.

Turn on the Safari extension

• iPhone / iPad: Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions → Kokoro Japan Guide, and allow access to the map websites.
• Mac: Safari → Settings → Extensions → tick Kokoro Japan Guide.

Then open a place in the browser, tap the extension icon and choose Send this place. It appears in the app for you to confirm.

Apple Watch

Install the watch app from the Watch app on your iPhone. Choose a place on the iPhone and tap Start route: the watch shows an arrow and the distance.
